Applications open for GAMAA scholarships

Applications close on October 30, with scholarships open to all individuals working in the graphic media and printing technologies industry who have the support of their employer.

“Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship that facilitates financial, educational and professional support over three years,” said GAMAA education manager Samantha Crock.

Former scholarship recipient David Constable (pictured), now marketing officer at AustralianSuper, described himself as “very fortunate” to have received the scholarship to support his post-graduate studies.

“Perhaps most significantly, knowing I had the support of the GAMAA scholarship allowed me to take a risk with my course selection,” Constable said. “I chose to do a research style project that ultimately resulted in a small thesis. This was a hugely challenging project for me, the most rewarding and the most learning intensive experience.

“And with the GAMAA scholarship I’ve been very lucky to share some unique learning experiences with an equally inspirational bunch of people”.

Full details and application forms for the scholarships can be obtained from the GAMAA website or via email at enquire@gamaa.net.au.
