APPMA selects scholarship finalists

The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), and Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), have selected three finalists for the tenth annual Scholarship program.

The winner, either a packaging technologist, designer or engineer in Australia is given the opportunity to complete a Diploma in Packaging Technology to the value of $9,000. 

Gui Fen Janell Siek, packaging technologist, Nestle Australia; Brittany Puyol, product & packaging designer, Edlyn Foods and Karunia Adhiputra, packaging technologist, Technical & Production, Nestlé Australia are all competing for the top prize.

The Diploma in Packaging Technology is a Level 5 qualification which is internationally recognised for those wishing to pursue a career in the packaging industry or for those who are already in the industry and who wish to extend their knowledge and expertise.

Diploma in Packaging Technology students are from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, and are typically experienced practitioners or managers in technical, sales/marketing, QA, purchasing, engineering or design. Completion of the Diploma in Packaging Technology demonstrates their commitment to their career and to the industry. Delegates who successfully complete the Diploma are equipping themselves for senior positions within the packaging industry

The winner will be formally announced at the APPMA Biennial Awards of Excellence which will be held on the March 27 alongside Auspack at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
