Blue Star, Paragon and Qote claim the medals at ACT Page Awards

Blue Star won the ‘offset publications’ category and also claimed gongs for ‘annual reports – two or three colours’ and ‘annual reports – four or more colours’. The group also won two gold medals at this year’s Victorian PICAs.

Print management firm Qote won the ‘environmental – project’ award and also took out ‘innovation – client satisfaction’ and ‘innovation – innovative solution’.

The Page Awards recognise excellence in print, design and multimedia and are organised by the Printing Industries Association of Australia, Canberra Institute of Technology and Australian Graphic Design Association. Winners qualify for the National Print Awards.

Design agency Paper Monkey claimed two gongs, while Paragon Printers won the ‘stationery award’. Six other organisations also left with one award: the Australian Taxation Office, Cre8ive, Giraffe Visual Communications, Grey Canberra, Pixel to Paper and Voodoo Creative.

The awards dinner was held at the Realm Hotel on 23 November.
