Brisbane photobook printer enjoys success with Kodak Endura paper

The 30-staff company has been trialing the stock on the Indigo 5500 over the past few months and after positive customer feedback has rolled out the stock across its complete photobook range.

Clickonprint general manager Michael Barnard said that the paper suits its mid- to high-end market, which primarily services professional wedding photographers.

“Straight away we have been achieving the look and feel of traditional photo prints and it really lifts the photo off the page,” he said.

“We are receiving really vibrant and beautiful results.”

Barnard added that the business, owned by Brisbane digital printer Colourwise, has been enjoying considerate growth since its inception six years ago and is increasing its sales every month.

“More and more professional photographers are switching to press-printed photobooks. The release of Kodak Professional Endura papers for our photobooks now enables them to compliment their traditional photo-prints without compromising quality,” he said.

Kodak said that Endura is a 220gsm double-sided lustre paper, which is resin-coated to produce “long-lasting prints with whiter whites, richer blacks and vibrant colours”.
