Cheaper broadband will generate better IT services: Konica Minolta

Konica Minolta Australia has promoted from within for two key IT and software appointments.

Neal Ross has transferred from Konica Minolta New Zealand into the newly created role of IT director.

He will help the vendor expand its document management and automation services.

"As the current technology market evolves with the advent of ultra-fast broadband in Australia, I would expect to see substantial drops in the price of high-quality, high-speed connections over the coming years, which will open cloud services to many SME and provincial companies," said Ross.

Meanwhile, Christophe Roy has left Konica Minolta France to become the local product marketing manager for print management software.

He will provide support and training to colleagues and also work with clients.

"I look forward to providing added value solutions to our Australian customers and help increase the growth of our print management solutions," said Roy.
