Chili makes hot sale to Sydney’s Dominion Print

Dominion’s managing director, Kelvin Gage, told the PacPrint Daily that Chili Publisher would provide a more integrated dimension to his firm’s MIS automation.

The 60-year-old Silverwater business recently invested in a Tharstern MIS and wanted to further connect with clients.

“We’d done a lot of web-to-print in the past but it had been ad hoc and didn’t integrate all that well. We purchased Tharstern six months ago and now we’re looking at the next step: how we can streamline customer integration and the workflow from the customer all the way to production as smoothly as possible.

“One of the things we particularly liked about Chili was its ability to integrate so seamlessly into Tharstern, so from the customer’s click to production, it’s a fully automated system,” Gage said. “We now do web-to-print a whole lot more efficiently.”

Chili Publish’s Belgian managing director Bram Vermiest, who made the trip down under for PacPrint, said the software had been built to shake hands with a wide range of management information systems.

Alan Dixon, managing director of Workflowz, which represents Chili locally, said the sale was a significant one for the online editing software.
