Closure of Supply One leaves market opening for DES

DES has signed up as distributor for Mactac’s film and vinyl products following the liquidation of previous supplier Supply One.

Mactac Australia, which was owned $138,000 by Supply One, has already delivered a number of stock lines to DES.

David Worth, business development manager of Mactac Australia, said: “Following the unfortunate closure of Supply One, we have now been given an opportunity to work with a highly regarded and successful company that will be an outstanding partner and representative of our brand.

“DES will be working to maintain the supply of Mactac films to the market and over the coming weeks will be contacting our valued Mactac customers to discuss their ongoing supply needs,” he added.

Worth also thanked Mactac’s existing distributors BJ Ball and Celmac  “for their outstanding support during this challenging period”.

DES managing director Ian Clare said the company was “delighted” to be working with a company as high profile as Mactac.

“As part of our commitment to our new partners, we have undertaken to maintain the full selection of MaxMark coloured vinyls, including the 9800 Pro Series, Premium Performance Polymeric Film and a comprehensive range of Imagin digital print media and Permacolor laminates for the wide-format digital print market,” he said.

Supply One went into liquidation in August.
