Colorpak becomes country’s biggest Optimus MIS user following Carter Holt deal

The packaging company, which already operates Optimus at its existing sites in NSW and Victoria, will extend the tool to its four new facilities over the course of the year.

Optimus Australian business manager Jim Street said that the roll-out would make Colorpak the company’s largest client in the country and he will be working closely to ensure the operation goes smoothly.

Colorpak IT manager Paul Grobler said the strength of the relationship between the two companies was a key factor in the decision to expand services with Optimus 2020.

“Optimus was our first choice and has been part of our business for many years,” he said.

“The levels of functionality within Optimus 2020 suit the Colorpak Group’s growing needs. Equally Optimus’s policy of constant development means that Optimus 2020 will continue to evolve in order to keep pace with the market demands that we face.

“This coupled with our longstanding relationship with Optimus means we do not need to look elsewhere.”

Optimus was founded in the UK and has been supplying management information systems to the printing industry since 1982.

Optimis will exhibit at PrintEx11, where it will also promote its new Dash MIS (pictured).
