CopyWise in Victoria installs Australia’s 700th Fuji Xerox 700

The digital manufacturer said it had installed an average of 27 installations per month of the 700 press since it was released.

Fuji Xerox national graphic communications manager Simon Lane called it “phenomenal”.

“The 700 is now producing more than 35 million colour prints a month across Australia,” he said.

The 71ppm 700 has been sold numerous markets, including copy shops, government bodies, design studios and larger commercial printers.

CopyWise director Bruce Dess told ProPrint he decided on the 700 because of its colour quality and cost efficiency.

“We have already had a lot of use out of the machine, it has increased our productivity, and most importantly it has dropped our colour printing costs just under 20%,” he said.

The machine had been installed in conjunction with the five-staff company’s expansion into a second premise.

“After our research, we felt that the 700 Digital Color Press was the right machine to handle the type and volume of work we now receive,” added Dess.
