Dataform Buhrs marriage banns posted

Previously distributed in Australia by Heidelberg, the Buhrs product range encompasses film and paper wrapping and envelope inserting equipment.

The Dataform relationship harks back to the Australian subsidiary’s international parent, headquartered in Vienna, which has a long-standing relationship with the Buhrs organisation. According to the firm’s Melbourne principal, Robert Cornish, it has recently become increasingly involved in its distribution activities for such global brands as Hunkeler, Kern, ATS and Tecnau, in addition to yesterday’s PacPrint recently concluded agreement with Buhrs.

In Melbourne for the agreement signing, Buhrs chief marketing officer, Jan Clement foreshadowed considerable potential for his company’s range of polybagging and envelope inserting equipment, given demand for replacement of older models and the trend of conventional print suppliers extending their services into fulfilment areas.
