De Moor back with Summa

Well known industry identity Jean-Pierre De Moor is back in the business, as the newly appointed business development manager for Summa in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.

Summa develops, manufactures and delivers vinyl and contour cutters, as well as finishing flatbed systems for a variety of markets, including sign and display, and packaging, and for applications ranging from vinyl cutting to POP displays and short-run packaging.

The company claims to be market leader in Europe and is now strengthening its position in the Asia Pacific by expanding its networking of dealers in more countries and in a wider range of market segments.

To accelerate this expansion, Summa has appointed De Moor in a business development role. He lives and works in Singapore since 1998, and was been the vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan for Esko for 15 years.

He has a wealth of Asia knowledge, particularly in Summa’s target markets. “We are delighted that Jean-Pierre has agreed to join us”, says Erwin Vandousselaere, Summa’s CEO. “His experience, both in the region and in our market segments is very valuable for us in order to achieve our expansion goals”.

“It is great to be back”, adds Jean-Pierre De Moor. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to work again in the market I am most familiar with. Summa is a great company with an exciting product line-up.”

With more than 30 years of experience building cutting plotters, Summa delivers highly reliable and accurate products for the sign making, packaging, labelling, vehicle wrap, and outdoor advertising industries.

Summa’s headquarters is in Gistel, Belgium.
