The distributor has hired Mark Wilton (pictured) as business development manager for X-Rite and Pantone. The role has been vacant since December, following Sanjoy Banerjee’s departure.

Wilton, who started in the position earlier this month, told ProPrint he is charged with “maintaining and developing the dealer channel and network, and pursuing opportunities for the entire X-Rite family of products”.

Wilton will oversee David Stead and Nideera Evans in pushing the X-Rite range in the industrial, graphic imaging, and retail markets.

“These are the types of markets we need to get into and drive in order to grow our business,” he said.
