Drozdowicz retires from DS Chemport

Peter Drozdowicz has retired from his role as chief executive of DS Chemport, some five decades after starting his career in the Printing & Graphic Arts industry.

Drozdowicz spent almost half of his career at the company, twenty three years, and was one of the original founding members of DS Chemport. He also managed the sale of the company to Fujifilm in 2003, staying on to steer it for the next 15 years.

The industry stalwart started his career with Collie in 1967, moving on to Printing Technologies in 1982, before starting DS Chemport in 1995.

Drozdowicz says DS Chemport  is well positioned for the challenges ahead, possessing an excellent team of people, first class facilities and the technical and financial support of Fujifilm.

DS Chemport manufactures a large range of printing chemicals including fountain solutions, blanket washes, UV coatings, waterbased coatings, silicone emulsions, plate cleaners, auxiliary cleaning products and offset blankets with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and a sister company in Malaysia.

Fujifilm and DSC says they wish Peter all the best in his retirement.
