Esko signs deals with HP and EFI to offer i-Cut Suite with print kit

Both will co-market the company’s i-Cut Suite software, which was launched at the Fespa, alongside their machines.

“As the industry evolves, printing and workflow technology must become faster, less costly and more efficient,” said EskoArtwork sign & display business development manager Bryan Stringer. “It’s crucial that suppliers are able to offer and end-to-end automated solution.”

Meanwhile, HP has beefed up its wide-format workflow offerings by extending its relationship with Esko and heading up the wide-format workgroup of CIP4.

The wide-format workgroup will develop and define wide-format features and standards for JDF, the job definition format.

“We are honoured to lead industry-wide efforts to define open JDF standard for the large-format market,” said HP Scitex general manager Yariv Avisar.
