Ex PIAA manager Ron Patterson joins Todisco bindery business

Patterson, who parted ways with the trade association in December, is now national sales & marketing manager at Melbourne-based M&M Binders.

M&M Binders managing director Lenny Todisco said Patterson would help raise the profile of the trade finisher.

“Some people seem to have forgotten that M&M Binders is still around, which means we may be missing out on work and some in the industry may be missing out on what we can offer,” he said.

“Ron is a well-respected industry professional with a strong background in sales and marketing, so we believe he’s the perfect person to remind the industry that we are still here – and still producing some of the most challenging binding and finishing work in the country. We’re delighted to have him on board,” added Todisco.

Patterson added: “I know the industry pretty well, and even I was surprised to come down here and see just how expansive the production facilities are.”

Services include hard and soft case binding, stitching, embellishing and folding.

The trade supplier is based in Port Melbourne, under the same roof as commercial print company Mercedes Waratah, which is run by Lenny’s brother, Michael Todisco.

  1. M & M based in the same building as Mercedes Waratah, how many printers will trust Mercedes not to try to poach the clients of M & M not a lot, a difficult task ahead for Patterson
