Exhibitor Q&A: Roland Bangerter

What does your company do?

Muller Martini is known as a company manufacturing machines for post-press – book-binding, addle-stitching and things like that.  There’s no other company that has such a wide range of products in this area. Whatever you do after printing, Muller Martini machines can help you.

Where are you based?

Switzerland.

How many of your team are here?

Four.

What are you showing?

We decided not to put any machines in, because we have very big machines and that would have required a very big stand. We have an information booth. We’re promoting all our products and we’re happy to discuss any project.

What are your hopes for PacPrint?

The most important thing is to meet as many customers and prospects as possible and get new leads. We would like to see some orders, but otherwise it’s important to see a high number of visitors and also high-quality visitors. That may not lead to business immediately but could in the future.

How many PacPrints have you been to?

This is my first. Australia has just been added to my territory very recently.

What is your top tip for the show?

People should have an open mind. They should go into exhibition booths and have discussions about what they’re doing. It’s always good to have a chat and see if there’s anything you can help people with.
