Faber POD brings lost classics to readers

Many traditional and new printers are buying new digital equipment to address the publishing trend. Faber Finds is one such imprint whose aim is to restore to print for future generations a wealth of lost classics.

“Could out-of-print books be a phenomenon of the past? That’s the question that will be facing publishers, agents and authors after the launch on June 2 of a new imprint from Faber and Faber designed to make available a large number of titles which until now have been out of print,” writes The Guardian.

“There are so many fine books currently out of print. It’s not because they didn’t sell, it’s because they didn’t sell enough to be economically reprintable,” a spokesman for Faber told Britain’s Telegraph.
