Klumpp said all the mailroom products on the Ferag stand are available on order.

The vendor is also promoting its Fold’n’Stitch product, which allows a folding and stitching line operating at 40,000cph folding and stitching in one pass to be integrated in any system environment.

Klumpp identified strong attendee interest in the manufacturer’s Job Folio finishing equipment range of JobStrap, JobFeed, JobTrim and JobStack which are adding value in binderies around Australia.

Ferag’s PrintEx11 presentation embraces an extensive range of trade partners, which include Xingraphics, known for its FIT Xtra Melior thermal CTP plate, as well as Epson, Screen (CTP), Tolerans Stitchers, Accraply Applicators, Planatol Ahesive Systems, GrafiKontrol press controls, Segbert and Mariani stackers and palletisers and the recently acquired Kallfass agency.

The PrintEx11 presentation will be supplemented by a display of Ferag’s comprehensive range of trade consumables, which include wire strapping materials, adhesives, printing plates, wrapping film, graphic film and MemoStick labels.

Klumpp expressed confidence in the short-term future of finishing.

“I’m more optimistic perhaps than the average. I’m not closing my eyes to the industry’s problems, but I believe that with the right business model, a printer and finisher can make a success of it in Australia at this time.”
