Fergies and chief exec Alan Brodie part ways

Brodie is believed to have left in February. He and Fergies chairman John Ferguson declined to comment when contacted by ProPrint.

Brodie was general manager of Morrison Media from 2010-11.

He was previously News Limited's Gold Coast operations manager from 2000-10, a role that included overseeing the Gold Coast print centre. Brodie served as general manager of Rural Press' Whyalla print centre from 1998 to 2000.

Brodie, 44, has been in printing and publishing his entire career, and completed his apprenticeship at Rural Press in 1990.

Brodie joined Fergies in 2011 when he replaced Richard Sloan, who joined Fergies as chief executive in 2009
