Fespa to take 2013 show to London

“We really believe that the time is right to go to London, coming the year after the 2012 London Olympics and the huge investment in infrastructure,” said Fespa managing director for events Frazer Chesterman.

“Fespa is a global show – we get representatives from 156 countries at our show and London is the world’s most international city, which can only work further in our favour.”

He added that the show would be a similar size or slightly larger than this year’s June event in Munich, which is set to be a 27,000sqm show. The 2013 event will be held at the ExCel exhibition centre from 25 to 29 June.

“ExCel is a huge venue and, in terms of our needs, is perfect,” added Chesterman.
