The two major Australian newspaper publishers Fairfax and News are dueling for the right be be known as the best printers in Australia as the finalists have been revealed in the Panpa newspaper of the year Awards.
The prestigious Print Centre of the year Award is a three way bout between Fairfax’s Canberra Print Centre, and the Darwin Print Centre and Townsville Print Centre, both News Corp Australia sites.
The other print awards in both single width and double width are a fairly even fight between Fairfax and News, with Taiwan’s Apple Daily Printing Centre the only other print centre in the mix for a medal.
The winners will be revealed at a glittering ceremony on the evening of September 6 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, immediately following this year’s News Media Summit.
