Finsbury keeps greening up in latest Sustainability Report

The annual report has been a key part of the Adelaide-based printer’s green message since the first edition in 2002.

Headline results include cutting electricity use by 6% year-on-year, reducing water usage by 7%, decreasing CO2 by 8% and eliminating waste to landfill by 45%.

The company has set itself the ambitious target of reducing dry waste to landfill to 0% by 2015.

Finsbury Green environmental and technical manager Rodney Wade said the company took special pride in continuing to produce the report despite the economic hardships.

“At a time when it is difficult to ‘maintain the faith’… we manage to continue to build our brand reputation,” said Wade.

The report was produced as a 48pp French fold, designed by See Saw in Melbourne and printed in-house.

Finsbury Green was the biggest winner at this year’s South Australia and Northern Territory PICAs, with six gold awards and two sponsored awards.
