Fuji Xerox receives Energex awards

Fuji Xerox took out the inaugural Innovations in Sustainability award as well as the Professional Services (Commercial) award, with eight awards being handed out in total.

The sustainability award is in recognition of Fuji Xerox’s deployment of “document management solutions and processes” which allowed Energex to increase its print efficiency, reduce paper wastage and reduce its carbon footprint.

“Our partnership with Fuji Xerox has enabled Energex to change internal attitudes and behaviours in regards to sustainability,” said Sharyn Scriven, group manager of procurement for Energex. “As a result, we’ve increased productivity, taken better control of costs and reduced our environmental impact.”

“Fuji Xerox Australia’s vision is to achieve sustainable outcomes for customers and we’re delighted that Energex has recognised our efforts in helping them meet their environmental as well as business objectives,” said Garry Gray, Queensland state manager for Fuji Xerox Australia.

The professional services award was awarded on an ‘overall score’ basis compared to Energex’s other professional service providers regarding criteria such as ‘innovation’ and ‘planning’. Fuji Xerox supplies document management hardware and software solutions to Energex, in addition to business consulting services.

According to the energy company, “the annual Energex Supplier Quality Awards recognise the exceptional achievements of the company’s 5000 plus suppliers, with only 50 companies short-listed every year”.
