Fuji Xerox upgrades bestselling light production machine

The 700i is an upgrade that replaces the bestselling 700 machine, which has sold more than 850 models in Australia since its launch at Drupa.

Fuji Xerox Australia (FXA) said that as well as Fogra validation print certification and Pantone spot colour accuracy, the 700i brought a number of other advantages over the 700.

These include auto duplex support for 300gsm stocks, the inclusion of the Adobe PDF Print Engine, inline GBC advanced punch and an updated front end.

The 700i, which has a duty cycle of 540,000 images per month, can hit 70ppm across “across a wide range different stocks”.

FXA product marketing manager Mark Williams: “The new Fuji Xerox 700i Digital Color Press really has it all.

“It updates the software and capabilities of the 700 Digital Press and continues to enable print providers with the performance and reliability to accept even more jobs.”
