Fujifilm appoints new graphics GM

Fujifilm announced on Wednesday that Eastwood will become general manager, Graphic Systems and CloudNet.

Eastwood’s LinkedIn profile lists his position as an independent corporate strategy consultant “currently working with Fujifilm”.

Krufczyk left the company last Friday.

“I had a really interesting and challenging time there but the management decided they wanted to go down a different path,” he told ProPrint.

One source at Fujifilm told ProPrint that Krufczyk would be missed. “I found him very good to work with. He has been nothing but great with me.”

Krufczyk joined Fujifilm in March 2009 after 18 years with Heidelberg.

In a press release announcing the appointment, Fujifilm Australia managing director Dave Marshall said: “Sturt has previously held senior appointments both domestically and internationally which have suitably positioned him for Fujifilm’s expanding Graphic Systems and CloudNet roles.”

The newly established CloudNet division capitalises on Fujifilm’s online marketing, applications development and network and storage capabilities developed for the Imaging market.

“Sturt’s appointment will be a huge asset to the Graphic Systems and CloudNet business units, particularly as new directions within the industry continue to emerge.”

Marshall is on leave and could not be reached for comment.
