Fujifilm Australia adds Epson GS6000

The digital press (pictured) is already on display at Fujifilm Sericol’s Perth and Sydney showrooms. The company said Fujifilm customers would receive the same level of support as Epson customers.

Tatjana Ferguson, large-format business manager for Fujifilm Sericol, said: “The GS6000 will certainly be a complementary addition to our printer portfolio, fulfilling a high-quality, high-end positioning in our solvent based range.”

The 1.6m-wide GS6000 offers a maximum resolution of 1,440dpi, and prints at speeds of up to 9.2sqm per hour in Vinyl Production Mode, and up to 25.2sqm per hour in Banner Production Mode.

The mild solvent printer also comprises an Epson MicroPiezo Dual Array print head and the eight-colour Epson UltraChrome GS ink system.
