Fujifilm Sericol unveils new UV inkjet printer

The Advance features a modified printhead which Fujifilm claims produces 40 per cent faster printing speeds than its predecessor, the HD2504. The Advance offers print speeds of up to 22sqm per hour in production mode and 15sqm per hour in high-quality mode, with a print area of 1.25m x 2.5m and printing onto substrates up to 48mm thick.

The Advance also features a white ink option in addition to the standard four colour CMYK.

The Advance will be officially unveiled at this week’s SGIA tradeshow in the USA, and will be exhibited locally at the Sydney Visual Impact Image Exhibition on October 30. Commercial shipments of the printer will commence in November.
