GAMAA offers $15,000 grant for ‘new ideas that will benefit the industry’

Last year’s winner, Peter Barnet from Bambra Press, has just completed a study tour of the US. His trip included a meeting with renowned entrepreneur Seth Godin and visits to Graph Expo in Chicago and the Direct Marketing Association show in Las Vegas.

The 2013 recipient will get to do an internship with companies of their choosing anywhere in the world and will then file a research paper outlining their experience and how it can be applied locally.

Internships can be undertaken in marketing, new media, print, graphic design and other disciplines related to print media.

GAMAA executive director Karen Goldsmith said: “We are looking for new ideas that will benefit not only the recipient, but also the industry. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who wants to think outside the square, think big and bold and push boundaries.”

Interested parties are advised to phone Goldsmith on (02) 9869 0010 before submitting their application.

Applications close on 15 March 2013. Click here for more information.
