Executive Director Karen Goldsmith said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the industry to expand their knowledge base and contribute to the future of our industry.

"I encourage those who are interested in applying for the GAMAA grant to call me to discuss their project prior to submitting an application. Even if you only have the germ of an idea let’s talk about it to see how it may be developed."

Last year's winner, Peter Barnet from Bambra Press, used his grant to take a 24-day study tour of the US.
