Garry Muratore leaves Agfa

Muratore (pictured) told ProPrint last month that he was moving on after more than two decades at Agfa to help with family business affairs and to seek new opportunities. PacPrint 09 was his last marketing project for the company.

Muratore has been responsible for many of the most memorable marketing coups in the Australasian printing and photographic industries over the years, and helped to establish a reputation for Agfa as a company at the cutting edge of innovation in imaging and reproduction. Muratore’s natural fascination and affinity for all kinds of new technologies stood him in good stead in a role which saw him recognised as one of the most intuitive, savvy and effective marketing managers in the industry.

“I’ve enjoyed my time with Agfa enormously, and we achieved a lot of great things for the company,” he said. “While I’m sad to leave, I feel it’s time to move on to new things. I wish the company well in the future.”

The company’s marketing role will reportedly be split among present employees.
