GBC launches Powis Parker fastback binding machine

The fastback binder, which incorporates an LED display, allows users to bind books up to 350 pages thick at variable speeds.

Powis Parker chief executive Kevin Parker described the capabilities of the machine as “spectacular”.

“The results are spectacular, it is the perfect binding machine for anyone who needs a fast, full-featured machine capable of binding large quantities,” he said.

The machine has been aimed at copy shops and other print environments to produce presentations, yearbooks, hardcover books and various bound documents

According to GBC one of the key features of the Fastback is the ability adjust the positioning of the binding tape as well as the speed of the machine.

GBC said that the machine features a fast warm up time and a binding capacity of 10 – 350 sheets in 13 – 20 seconds.

The Powis Parker machine heads up the Fastback range accompanying the Fastback 9, and the Hard-Cover Guide & Stitcher.
