Graph-Pak sells all its ‘big ticket’ kit

The dealer has sold an Autobond Mini 76 TH Mk2 laminator to Sydney’s Acorn Press, an Autobond Micro 52 laminator to Typeface in Bathurst, a Busch SW125RLA pile turner to CMYKhub’s Melbourne business and a D&K Europa laminating machine to Spot On in Brisbane.

Craig Foley, owner of Brookvale-based Acorn Press, said the new Autobond would be faster than its existing laminator.

“It is all about timing. Currently 10,000 sheets takes us 12 hours, now 10,000 will take us five hours. The number of jobs we print digitally and celloglaze is unbelievable.”

Graph-Pak managing director Tom Ralph said the Autobond Mini 76 TH Mk2 was “the best built laminator in the world”

He also revealed huge interest in the multipurpose Thermotype Zip TSL2, which creases, perforates, slits, diecuts, blind embosses, holepunches and square hole-punches.“We’ve had six handshakes: no purchase orders yet but I’m positive they’ll be back.”
