Welcome back to another exciting year of ProPrint’s coverage of all things print in Australia from the team here at ProPrint Towers.

Last year was a tumultuous year for the print, and while we all hope for a more stable run this year we’ll have to wait and see how the year pans out, as the industry continues to change and evolve to meet the challenges of the modern age.

Whatever the events are rest assured Proprint will be bringing you all the innovations, inspirations, catastrophes, collapses, intrigue, and success stories from around the country directly to you through your daily newsletter and monthly magazine, and better than ever.

Last year ended with Look Print managing director David Leach voted as most influential and innovative person in print at the prestigious ProPrint Power 50, check out all the photos from the event here.

While many of us took some time off to relax or spend time with friends and family, not everyone has been quiet over the break and this week we will have news of one or more printers lining their stockings with a print business acquisition.

This year we look forward to a few key industry events that will have new looks, including Auspack in March, PrintEx 15 and the revamped National Print Awards in May, and of course a raft of new technology coming to market.
