IQ creates a fully-fledged management workflow system

Since entering the printing landscape over a decade ago, IQ has now launched what it describes as ‘the first fully fledged management workflow system to hit the market’.

The company boasts a growing list of customers and says it has become the force to be reckoned with in the Australian MIS space.

Mick Rowan, director and head of research and development at IQ, says, “Our road map right from the start was to become far more than just an MIS. Our idea was to understand our customer’s frustrations and start developing solutions to remove them. As part of this concept we wanted to produce a simple-to-use process but present it in a way that was clean and orderley. Essentially the opposite of all the products on the market at the time.

This idea has definitely been translated into reality as Andrew Bennett, managing director of Calgraphics can attest, “One of printIQ’s many strengths is the simple and easy to use interface that still allows users to create complex quotes and jobs.”

The idea of empathising with their users has set IQ on the path of perpetually looking forward to find the optimum solutions. Rowan continues, “We started with the management information, and then built upon it to add our automation and analytics.

“We now offer a fully integrated workflow solution that not only provides us with a competitive edge as a web based MWS provider to the digital, offset, signage and wide format markets; it also brings added value to our customers by automating the checking, reporting and correcting of web-to-print orders immediately upon delivery to the printer.”

The other aspect of printIQ that Rowan is extremely proud of is the implementation process, as Rowan explains, “Any installation will cause some confusion for a while; there is no escaping the upheaval. With this in mind we worked hard to provide a simple and structured process that sees most of our implementations being completed within a 12 week period.”

Again the idea has been translated into reality as Luke Richards, director of Newstyle can attest, “The implementation process for printIQ is incredibly well structured and simple to follow. The team at IQ have really simplified an extremely complex process with a great product.”
