Jet Technologies gets foothold in booming region with Indonesian office

Director Jack Malki said the Sydney-based distributor carefully researched the Indonesian and Asian markets before making the decision.

“The sophistication of the Indonesian printing, labelling and packaging segments, given the country’s wide-ranging FMCG manufacturing industry and the vast size of its market potential, swayed us heavily in our decision,” he said.

“Moreover, we were influenced by the presence of many of our competitors, both in the labelling and packaging areas.”

Jet has appointed two local executives: sales manager Arman Mampuk, who spent the past five years at Ryobi distributor Cyber, and office manager Yanuar Emilius, who previously worked at Ferrostaal Indonesia.

“These two newly created positions further strengthen the support that Jet Technologies is able to offer our clients throughout the region,” said Malki.

Jet also expanded into New Zealand in 2010.
