The RapidCheck tool allows printers to check the quality of print products and their compliance with required print standards such as ISO 12647-2 and 12647-3, producing a detailed PDF report of the user’s printing conditions.

Garry Muratore, GMG Colour’s Australian and New Zealand general manager, said: “With the trend towards international certification such as ISO or Fogra, this very easy-to-use tool provides the basis for better and more simplistic communication between print suppliers and customers.”

Andreas Johansson, Kayell’s sales director for graphic arts and printing, said: “The need for standardised printing is growing, as greater importance is given to compliance with international or in-house defined print standards.”

“Advertising agencies and production managers involved in the production of print products as well as print buyers want tools that enable them to verify quickly whether delivered prints comply with a predefined quality standard.”
