Kwik Kopy North Sydney’s impressive sales figures won the centre a coveted Franchise of the Year award for 2016 after being pegged against twenty other top performing stores.

According to the Australian franchise group, the annual award assesses all Kwik Copy stores against a series of benchmarks including sales, growth and profitability. Twenty stores were then shortlisted, with the North Sydney centre coming out on top.

The store has been owned and operated by Jeremiah and Carol Akladious for six years, and Kwik Kopy managing director David Bell says the North Sydney franchise’s success stems from the store’s impressive economy of scale.

“Their outstanding sales performance marked by the highest sales per person and highest in house production per person of all centres, combined with their strong customer service and commitment to quality make them second to none,” says Bell.

“By harnessing and re-energising existing staff and customers, Jeremiah and Carol have achieved incredible results over just six years. Their entrepreneurial approach and passion is always at the forefront. They are a credit to the Kwik Kopy business and richly deserve their award.”

Owner Jeremiah Akladious says the traffic and sales success from his North Sydney store is a testament to an enduring industry.

“Print is still very much alive; in fact it is a growth market. We are seeing a shift towards smaller runs but with a greater focus on quality touches such as embellishments,” says Akladious.
 
“On top of that we are seeing many businesses opt for an integrated solution, combining print with complementary offerings such as promotional products. The future for our industry is bright.”
