Local packaging awards can ‘build brand awareness on an international scale’

The Australian Packaging Design Awards will reward companies that produce "imaginative, innovative and creative" packaging, said awards manager Jen Salem.

"Participating in the awards has assisted companies launch new products into the market, improve their corporate positioning, increase their business profile and build media and brand awareness on a national and international scale," she said.

The awards are an annual competition for brand owners, designers, retailers, manufacturers and raw material suppliers.

The categories include food, beverage, industrial, health and beauty, household and office, and seasonal and promotional.
