Lowe launches direct marketing teleseminar series

With the first seminar – entitled ‘Harnessing great sales using eNewsletters that work for you’ – set to take place next Tuesday at 4pm (AEST), Lowe believes that e-newsletter and e-zine campaigns require persistence to yield value for a company, but that it’s worth the effort.

“During my publicity mentoring with micros and SMEs, they admit that regular eNewsletters drop quickly off the radar when other ‘more pressing’ jobs turn up or the newsletters don’t get ‘quick hit’ results,” she said.

Lowe cited analysis from the UK Direct Mail Association, which found that whilst ten per cent of one company’s 2008 revenue came from subscribers who didn’t open a single email in 2007, another company generated $A130,000 in sales from subscribers who had not opened the previous 25 to 40 email messages.

“These sorts of statistics are incredibly significant because it shows that you can’t just quit because you think your last three eNewsletters or campaigns didn’t ‘work’,” Lowe said.

“They did, they do and they will. Persistence and consistence pays off. Especially when eNewsletters are so cost-effective to create and distribute, [thus] supporting your brand and establishing great rapport with your customer base.”

Well-known in the Australian printing industry for PR and marketing campaigns for companies such as Fuji Xerox and Adobe through her company Just Go Write, Lowe will bring this expertise to the teleseminar series.

“There’ll be a Q&A session so listeners can submit questions live on the call. I’ll also be sharing a way to get eNewsletters produced at low to no-cost,” adds Lowe.

Anyone unable to make the set time will also have the chance to download the recording at a later date, Lowe said.

Earlier this year, Lowe launched a DIY marketing resource for SME printers called “The Boost Business with Testimonials Kit”.
