In co-operation with CGS, MGI achieved the ISO certification on the DP60 Pro using the ISO coated v2 standard, as part of the FOGRACert Validation Print Creation program.

The collaboration with CGS will now also see CGS’ ORIS Press Matcher software sold with the DP60 Pro.

“MGI chose to partner with CGS because of their expertise and unparalleled quality of their applications,” MGI said in a statement.

“By combining the ORIS Press Matcher software with the Meteor DP60 Pro digital press, graphic arts professionals are assured consistent color quality across the board.”

Designed for high volume printing, the DP60 Pro can handle paper weights from 70 to 350gsm, producing up to 3900 A4/letter pages per hour. The press also prints on materials ranging from PVC, polyester, polycarbonate, PET, polypropylene, vinyl and Teslin, as well as certain specialty substrates such as canvas/buckram.

MGI is handled in Australia and New Zealand by GBC Australia.
