Muller Martini will combine the VSOP series with its existing Alprinta and Concepta product lines.

“We are investing in solutions that will provide our customers with new business opportunities in flexible and cardboard-box packaging,” said Muller Martini chief executive Bruno Müller. “VSOP technology is designed to guarantee their success in a market with growth potential and will give us a leading role in package printing.”

“The current situation at Drent Goebel hinders an easy transfer of know-how and the access to spare parts,” said Muller Martini board member Yves Rogivue. “We will do our utmost to build up service and spare part expertise in our global sales and service network, latest by the end of the year. Our goal is to deliver the highest levels of uptime for the printing presses installed, both now and in the future.”
