Johns (pictured) will take over from current MD David Rands on January 1st, with Rands moving on to a role as chairman.

Johns has been with DIC ANZ since 1989, which has included a five year stint as general manager in New Zealand.

Web commercial manager Meredith Darke will move to the newly created role of web business manager for the company.
