New South Wales firms will now have the opportunity to compete for the honour of being named the state's most exceptional printer.

The PICAs will debut the NSW Printer of the Year Judges Choice Award for the most outstanding individual printed piece across all categories.

This will differ from the ongoing NSW Printer of the Year title, which is given to the year's most successful company overall.

The 6 December awards dinner will be hosted by radio presenter Tim Ross and will also feature 33 other printing awards, four business awards and the Media Super Future Leaders Award.
