Océ releases new web-to-print software

Both softwares are based on Press-sense’s iWay technology and are part of its Business Flow Automation platform.

Crit Driessen, vice president of product marketing and strategy at Océ, said that web-to-print and business flow automation were of “great strategic relevance” for the company.

He added: “The printing industry is changing as regards business models to facilitate higher levels of service, more target marketing, shorter runs and super efficiencies.

“It is Océ’s intention to guide and support Print Service Providers through these changes, as new efficient production workflow and business workflow processes need to be implemented to meet changing market demands.”

Océ said that the enhancements to its Prismaweb and Prismaweb eManager software would help its customer base to further expand their web-based business platform into their mainstream business.
