The FograCert certification confirms that the machine, complete with EFI Fiery controller, EFI colour profiler suite and Océ’s proofing paper, fulfils the requirements of the new ISO/CD 12647-7 standard.

The validation printing system certifies that criteria including proofing substrate colour and gloss, permanence, light fastness and rub resistance were all met.

Charles Lissenburg, senior director of worldwide OEM sales at EFI, said: “It is proof of the technology leadership of both companies that we are the first to achieve Fogra certification, so printers everywhere can print with predictable and measurable quality according to set standards, a promise no other controller can offer to date.”
