Optimus MIS now manages sales

Software developer Optimus will expand its MIS system to both a production and sales program it says will save printers money and boost their sales.

Managing director Nicola Bisset says the new Optimus dash Sales Manager module will assist in planning sales activities, pursuing new sales and responding to customer enquiries instantly.

“MIS is no longer just a production tool, but can also help our customers increase sales and maximise opportunities without increasing costs,” she says.

She says the company has ensured there is ‘no duplication of effort’ with complete transparency of sales activities and customer contact in one web application.

Bissett says the module includes a dashboard showing the user key alerts of information about the customers and prospects assigned to them.

She says alerts are colour coded to ensure the priority is clear and correct action is taken, which will increase productivity and efficiency.

“When clicking on an individual record, all information held about the contact is available including note fields, which can be completed and activities raised,” she says.

“Sales budgets can be assigned to each customer and prospect and are monitored by customer, by prospect or by sales representative assigned.”

The budgets can then be compared to actual invoiced sales for comparison.

Sales Manager also includes a sales activity calendar, which can synchronise with Google or Outlook, so managers can keep track of their reps on the road, and update them on developments.

The new MIS launches at PrintEx15 in Sydney next month.
