Optimus wins award at Fespa for digital MIS

The Dash software, launched at Ipex 2010, was designed to suit the needs of the digital end of the print market, after Optimus found most MIS products had been developed with offset in mind.

Optimus group managing director Nicola Bisset said that “previously the printing sectors mentioned have struggled to find a MIS system designed for them – most MIS systems were traditionally built for litho processes”.

The awards were presented by the European Digital Press (EDP) Association at Fespa Hamburg 2011. According to the EDP: “The award is given for being a very comprehensive system that simplifies the management of your entire processes. For this reason the technical committee agreed it was worthy of an award.”

Optimus’ flagship product is its 2020 MIS, which is currently being rolled out across Colorpak’s newly acquired Carter Holt Harvey sites in Australia.
