Organisers hail Visual Impact success

High calibre of attendances and sales prove the Visual Impact exhibition in Melbourne has developed into a serious business show, organisers say. More than 70 exhibitors filled up the booths to showcase the latest innovation in the sign and display arena, with visitors given more value with the addition of the new Exhibitions Expo, organisers say.

Peter Harper, general manager – Trade Shows for Visual Connections, says attendances at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre last week were pleasing and exhibitors were delighted with the calibre of those who attended, with the number of show sales and solid leads demonstrating that this has developed into a serious business show. Harper says, “There was a constant buzz around the exhibition hall, not only due to the good number of people but also by the genuine interest and expectation shown by those people about what the Visual Impact exhibitors had to offer.” He says highlights included hands-on car wrap demonstrations and windows, walls and floors workshops, as well as a packed seminar program, which provided a wealth of ideas, information and inspiration for businesses looking to build a successful future. Harper says, “There is no opportunity like a trade show to really see, touch and feel the solutions and to discuss the ideas and options with experts, to evaluate how they compare and – most importantly – how they might work for your specific business and situation. “Given how time-poor most business people are in this competitive and challenging market, it was great to see such a high number of decision makers taking the time out of their week to invest in their businesses by exploring the latest technology, systems and ideas in the market.” Visual-Impact-Bris-RZD

He says this was reflected also in the workshop attendance and the seminars, which were well received. Harper says, “In the larger, more general sessions, visitors welcomed the opportunity to hear world-class speakers like Allan Pease, Lee Ussher, John Hadfield, Toby Ford and Warwick Merry and were terrifically engaged, coming away enthusing about the information presented. “In the more industry-specific sessions, our specially selected panels of experts delivered enormous value for businesses looking for solid information and guidance, and those who attended the smaller sessions benefited in particular from some great one on one advice from our expert presenters.” He says most of the visitors were from Melbourne, with Friday the busiest day and the Saturday session providing an opportunity for smaller and family businesses to attend. “It is clear the broad showcase of technology, systems and services Visual Impact offers continues to provide real value for visitors, and also the ROI for the exhibitors who invest their time, resources, energy and expertise in putting on the show,” Harper adds. The next Visual Impact exhibition will be held in Brisbane from April 14-16, 2016.
