Out There Media produces Nestle job for Dreamworld on HP Designjet

The printer, based in the suburb of Alexandria, printed the Allens-branded wraps for a train that stands at the entrance to the Gold Coast theme park.

Out There Media printed the panels on its HP Designjet L65500 using latex inks.

Kent Wiggins, managing director of the signage company, said it was important that the signage on the Little Puff train was as vivid as its surroundings at the entrance to Dreamworld.

He added that the quality of the prints from the HP Designjet L65500 is “second to none and they stand the test of time outdoors. We’ve also found that HP’s curing technology doesn’t compromise the integrity of the vinyl’s adhesive which makes applying the panels that much easier.”

Out There Media specialises in vehicle and fleet wraps as well as signage for experiential retail promotions for a broad base of national clients.

The printer became the first printer in NSW to purchase the HP Designjet L65500, which it bought from reseller Celmac in June 2009.

Since switching from a solvent platform, the printer has been able to improve its turnaround time to a matter of hours as opposed to days for projects like the Little Puff train.
