ASX-listed printing business, Ovato, has announced Andrew Stedwell, who was appointed as CFO in February 2021 is finishing up at the end of November.

Stedwell is being replaced by Ian Jones, the former GM of Finance, who has over six years experience with the Ovato business.

Jones will step into the new role from December 1, 2021.

Prior to joining Ovato in 2015, Jones worked as Finance Director for Penguin Random House and before that at Pearson Australia. Prior to arriving in Australia, he also worked in senior finance roles at ITV PLC in the UK.

Ovato says Jones brings extensive knowledge of both the financial and operational management of the Ovato print business to the position and will play an integral role in continuing to evolve and transform Ovato.

Ovato CEO James Hannan thanked Stedwell for his contribution to Ovato during its business transformation and recent sales of its non-core businesses.

“His achievements have been valuable and will be long lasting. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank him and wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Hannan said in a statement.
